Chef's Special
Mixed seafood grill, fennel mashed potatoes, spinach / grigliata mista di pesce NT$820
To maintain the simplicity and natural sweetness, the season's plump and juicy seafood – salmon, squid, codfish, scallops, and prawns - are freshly grilled to slightly charred with only salt and pepper. Along with stir-fried spinach and the chef's exclusive mashed potatoes with anchovy, olive oil, and herbs, it is a plateful of fresh ocean taste that opens your appetite.
Baked eggplant, tomato sauce, mozzarella / melanzane alla parmigiana NT$420
A typical hearty Calabrian home dish in which tomato sauce, sliced mozzarella, and sliced eggplant deep fried in flour, eggs, and crunchy bread crumbs alternately layered, then drizzled with the chef's special herb oil and baked to a sizzling golden brown finish.
Seabass "Ligurian style," potato, olive / branzino alla ligure NT$680
Spring sea bass pan-fried in a thin coat of flour to crispy and gold, seasoned with white wine, fish stock and chef's butter sauce, and baked with potato slices and marinated olives briefly under very high heat. The baking process not only brings the fragrance of the fish into full bloom, but also mixes the savoury taste and aroma of the olives perfectly with the fish and butter sauce.
Spaghetti, meat balls, tomato sauce / spaghetti alle polpette NT$460
Each 30g flat meatball, consisting of beef, veal, pork and bread crumbs pre-soaked in milk, is seasoned with thyme, rosemary, parsley, and a generous amount of grated parmesan cheese. Simmered in white wine and tomato sauce after being pan-fried to an excellent gold, the meat balls are then served with spaghetti and tomato sauce as a welcoming and substantial Italian classic.
