ECB leads tributes to Bedser, who dies age 91

England and Wales Cricket Board chairman Giles Clarke has led the tributes to former test bowler and selector Alec Bedser, who died at age 91 after a short illness.
Bedser was a pace bowler who took 236 wickets in 51 test matches between 1946-55 and twice dismissed Australian batting great Don Bradman for nought.
The Surrey bowler, who was knighted for his services to cricket, also spent 23 years as a selector. Clarke said Monday that Bedser was one of the greatest England bowlers of all time and a true legend of the game.
The ECB said he died on Sunday.
