Weather forecast for the Asia-Pacific region

A developing low pressure system will move northeastward from Japan's Ryukyu Islands into the Pacific Ocean on Monday. While this storm will be quite intense, it will not produce much precipitation over land areas.
Another low pressure system will develop late in the day and produce heavy rain south of Shanghai and north of Hong Kong.
The truly cold air will remain well north in northern China and Siberia, while much warmer temperatures are expected farther to the south in southeastern China.
Tokyo will rise into the mid-teens Celsius, while Shanghai will see temperatures in the upper teens C. Seoul will rise into the upper teens C.
For Australia, a low pressure system will move through the Great Australian Bight, producing some rain along coastal areas. Scattered showers are also likely farther inland as well as along the east coast near Sydney. Warm conditions will continue in the west.
Sydney will rise into the lower 20s C, while Melbourne will see temperatures in the mid-20s C. Brisbane will rise into the upper 20s C.
