Inter beats Bologna 3-0 to stay top by 1 point

Thiago Motta scored twice Saturday as Inter Milan beat Bologna 3-0 to stay top of the Serie A by one point.
Mario Balotelli also hit the target for Inter, which leads the standings with 66 points. AS Roma remained second after winning 1-0 at Bari from Mirko Vucinic's first-half goal.
AC Milan won 3-2 at Cagliari to stay in third place with 63 points. Marco Borriello and Klaas Jan Huntelaar scored for Milan, while Daniele Ragatzu and Alessandro Matri found the net for Cagliari. Daniele Astori scored an own-goal to give Milan the win.
Inter struggled to find any fluidity at the San Siro, appearing tired after its 1-0 midweek win against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League quarterfinals.
Following two off-target efforts, Motta gave Inter the lead in the 29th minute with a low shot from the edge of the area into the corner of the net.
Balotelli made it 2-0 in the 52nd in his first game back in six after having been dropped by coach Jose Mourinho, who was angry with what he perceived as the player's bad attitude. After making an apology to his teammates and club on Thursday, Balotelli was brought back into the squad.
Motta scored his second goal in the 85th, curling a low shot past goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano after receiving the ball from Dejan Stankovic's flick.
Vucinic's 19th-minute goal ensured Roma stayed within a point of Inter. Roma's Francesco Totti found Luca Toni on the edge of the area. He slipped a pass into the path of the overlapping Vucinic, and the Montenegrin shot low past goalkeeper Jean Gillet.
"It's the first chance we've had to play all three together," Roma coach Claudio Ranieri said. "Totti is coming back from injury and Vucinic has had a cold, but overall I'm very happy with how it went today."
Bari striker Paulo Barreto had a chance to equalize late on, but goalkeeper Julio Sergio saved the shot.
In Cagliari, Milan led in the seventh minute when Borriello received a pass from Clarence Seedorf and poked the ball past goalkeeper Federico Marchetti.
Ragatzu equalized in the 17th after reacting quickest to fire a loose ball past goalkeeper Dida. Two minutes later, though, Milan was back in the lead when Huntelaar hit home from long range.
The hosts were level again in the 32nd. Andrea Cossu broke into Milan's half, picked out Matri, who hit his 13th goal of the season.
Six minutes later, Milan retook the lead again. Ignazio Abate crossed from the right, Marchetti and Astori failed to clear the ball and Astori was unable to move before the ball bounced off him for Milan's third goal.
Also Saturday, it was: Atalanta 2, Siena 0; Chievo Verona 1, Sampdoria 2; Genoa 1, Livorno 1; Lazio 1, Napoli 1 and Parma 1, Fiorentina 1.
