Al Ahly through after overturning 1st-leg deficit

Six-time African champion Al Ahly of Egypt beat Zimbabwe's Gunners FC 2-0 on Friday to overturn a first-leg deficit and reach the third round of the African Champions League.
Ahmed Shokri and Mohamed Samir scored in Cairo as Al Ahly clinched a 2-1 aggregate victory following a surprise loss in Harare two weeks ago.
Al Ahly's Egyptian international midfielder Mohamed Abou-Treika saw his 14th-minute penalty saved by Gunners goalkeeper Tafadzwa Dube. But Shokri headed home seven minutes later, his first Champions League goal, and Samir converted from the spot on the stroke of halftime after Dube had fouled Emad Meteab.
Algeria's Entente Setif also progressed Friday with a 5-0 win over Cameroon's Union Douala, to win 7-0 on aggregate.
Lazhar Hadj Aissa began the rout on 15 minutes and Lamouri Djediat extended the lead before halftime. The four-time Algerian champion added goals from Mehdi Kacem, Smail Diss and Mohamed Ferradji. Union _ a former African champion _ had two players sent off.
Another Algerian club, JS Kabylie, beat Tunisia's Club Africain 1-0 to seal a 2-1 aggregate victory. Striker Sid Ali Yahia-Cherif scored the crucial goal in the 37th minute before being shown a red card just a minute later. Club Africain's Mohamed Traore was also sent off in the second half.
Botswana's Gaborone United had little trouble in overpowering Mauritian minnow Starlight Curepipe 6-0 on aggregate to take its place among the 16 teams in the third round. Gaborone United won 3-0 at home in Friday's second leg.
Meanwhile, Libya's Al Ittihad won 4-3 at Difaa Hassani El Jadidi of Morocco to secure a dramatic 5-4 triumph over the two legs.
There are another 11 ties to be decided in the second round of the African Champions League this weekend.
Defending champion TP Mazembe of Congo, which was given a bye into the second round, is in danger of being eliminated at the first hurdle.
Mazembe trails Rwanda's APR 1-0 on aggregate ahead of the second leg in Lubumbashi later Saturday.
