Razzoli leads World Cup slalom after 1st run

Giuliano Razzoli of Italy posted the fastest time in the opening leg of a men's World Cup slalom Sunday.
Razzoli finished the Podkoren 3 course in 54.02 seconds to gain a 0.02-second lead over Austria's Reinfried Herbst, who tops the discipline standings.
Overall leader Benjamin Raich of Austria was third, 0.26 behind Razzoli.
The 25-year-old Razzoli won his first World Cup title in Zagreb, Croatia, earlier this month.
Last year's winner Julien Lizeroux of France had the fastest intermediate times, but lost his balance at the final section and finished 0.55 back in seventh.
