Jansrud leads WCup giant slalom after 1st run

Kjetil Jansrud of Norway led the men's World Cup giant slalom after the opening leg Saturday.
Jansrud finished his run on the Podkoren 3 course in 1 minute, 17.92 seconds to lead Italy's Massimiliano Blardone by 0.11 seconds.
Carlo Janka of Switzerland was 0.35 back in third. Overall World Cup leader Benjamin Raich had 0.99 to make up in the second leg.
Ted Ligety of the United States, who won a GS here Friday, was fourth, 0.37 behind Jansrud.
The 24-year-old Jansrud was third in Friday's race and has yet to win a World Cup title.
