Weather forecast for the Asia-Pacific region

A developing low pressure system south of the Korean peninsula will move northeastward Sunday over Kyushu and into the Pacific Ocean.
The storm will produce rain in the southern part of Japan and snow in northern Honshu. Cold air will envelop the Yellow Sea and East China Sea, keeping temperatures on the cool side as far south as Shanghai, which will also see widespread precipitation.
Another developing low pressure system will move through southeast China late in the day. This storm will be much more significant with heavy rain anticipated for Japan on Monday.
Tokyo will rise into the mid-10s Celsius, while Shanghai will see temperatures in the upper 0s C. Seoul will rise into the mid-0s C.
For Australia, the remnants of Tropical Cyclone Olga will continue moving through the eastern portion of the country. This storm will bring strong winds and heavy precipitation from the eastern Gulf of Carpentaria through Brisbane late in the day.
Warm conditions will continue in the western portion of the country.
Sydney will rise into the mid-20s C, while Melbourne and Brisbane will see temperatures in the lower 30s C.
