Man charged with abusing more boys at Haiti school

A Colorado man charged with sexually abusing nine boys at a school he founded in Haiti is facing new charges that accuse him of abusing nine more victims.
Federal prosecutors said Thursday that a new indictment charges 39-year-old Douglas Perlitz with multiple counts of traveling outside the United States with the intent to engage in sexual conduct with minors and engaging in sexual conduct in foreign places with minors.
Authorities accuse Perlitz of enticing children at the Project Pierre Toussaint school in Cap-Haitien into sex acts by promising them food, shelter, cash and gifts.
Perlitz, of Eagle, Colorado, pleaded not guilty to the original charges, which accused him of abusing nine boys. His attorney didn't immediately return a telephone message.
