Redknapp: Spurs have signed Gudjohnsen on loan

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp says the club has signed Monaco striker Eidur Gudjohnsen on loan until end of the season.
Spurs completed the deal despite the 31-year-old Iceland international undergoing a medical examination at London rival West Ham earlier in the week.
Redknapp announced Thursday that "we've taken him on loan until the end of the season to see how it goes."
Gudjohnsen left Barcelona at the end of last season, three years after joining from Chelsea for 8 million pounds (then $16 million) on a four-year deal.
Tottenham is fourth in the Premier League and fighting for one of the Champions League spots.
Redknapp was speaking to BBC Radio Jersey.
