Taipei, Dec. 29 (CNA) The Taiwan Stock Exchange's main index opened higher Tuesday than its previous close, moving up 30.52 points at 8,088.01 on a turnover of NT$4.28 billion (US$132.72 million).
The weighted price index gained 84.90 points, or 1.06 percent, to close at 8,057.49 Monday.
