Beasley receives positive news over thigh injury

American midfielder DaMarcus Beasley has received positive news over a thigh injury and says he could be fit for Rangers' match against Glasgow rival Celtic on Sunday.
Manager Walter Smith had feared Beasley would be out for up to three weeks after picking up the injury in training. It ruled him out of Rangers' 4-1 win over Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League on Sunday.
But Beasley wrote on Twitter on Monday that "the injury is not as bad as we thought."
He said that "with rest and extra treatment (I) hope to be back by the end of the week! Fingers crossed!"
