Around 100 rounds fired in attack on Greek police

Greek authorities say gunmen who shot and wounded six officers outside an Athens police station fired around 100 rounds in the drive-by attack.
A police statement says 99 bullet casings from an automatic weapon were found outside the Aghia Paraskevi precinct, which came under fire by at least two gunmen on a motorcycle on Tuesday. The government has referred to the assailants as "terrorists."
Two officers suffered serious gunshot wounds, and another four were more lightly hurt
Wednesday's statement said forensics experts were also examining three stolen motorcycles that were found abandoned and may have been used during the attack.
No group has claimed responsibility. Greek far-left militants have stepped up attacks on police targets after last December's fatal police shooting of a teenager, which sparked riots across Greece.
