Semin returns to lift Capitals over Flyers 4-2

Alexander Semin returned from a two-game absence with a tiebreaking goal and an assist for the Washington Capitals to beat the Philadelphia Flyers 4-2 for their fifth straight NHL win on Tuesday.
Alex Ovechkin scored twice _ including an empty-netter in the final minute _ and Nicklas Backstrom had four points for the Capitals. Jose Theodore stopped Darroll Powe's penalty shot in the third period for the Southeast Division leaders, who rallied from a 2-0 deficit.
After a scoreless opening period, Scott Hartnell and Braydon Coburn put in power-play goals in the second to put the Flyers ahead.
