Lebanese militants launch rocket into Israel

Israeli police say Lebanese militants have launched a rocket into northern Israel, hitting a village but causing no casualties.
Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld added Tuesday that no Lebanese group immediately took responsibility.
A Lebanese security official confirmed that a rocket was fired from an area near the border village of Houla.
He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media
The Lebanon-Israel border has been largely quiet since Israel and the militant group Hezbollah fought a bitter war in the summer of 2006.
But smaller militant organizations have launched rockets on several occasions. The last one was on Sept. 11.
Tuesday's attack was the fifth this year.
