Bosnian Serb ex-leader set free

Former Bosnian Serb President Biljana Plavsic has arrived in Belgrade following her release from a Swedish prison after serving two-thirds of her 11-year sentence for war crimes.
Plavsic landed on a Bosnian Serb government plane that took her from Stockholm's Arlanda airport on Tuesday. She was whisked away in a car that took her straight from the tarmac to her downtown Belgrade apartment which she was seen entering.
The Yugoslav war crimes tribunal last month authorized the early release of Plavsic. She was sentenced in 2003 after pleading guilty to a single count of persecution, a crime against humanity, as part of an ethnic cleansing campaign to drive Muslims and Croats out of Serb-controlled areas of Bosnia.
