Taipei, Oct. 27 (CNA) The U.S. dollar gained against the new Taiwan dollar on the Taipei Foreign Exchange Tuesday, increasing NT$0.086 to close at NT$32.480.
A total of US$898 milion changed hands during the day's trading.
The U.S. currency opened at NT$32.515 and fluctuated between NT$32.401 and NT$32.548.
