Zelaya: Honduran businessmen's plan is 'good sign'

Ousted President Manuel Zelaya says he is analyzing a proposal from Honduran business leaders to restore him to power and end the country's political crisis.
Zelaya says the proposal is a "good sign" and he hopes to speak to those behind it "in the next hours." He spoke Tuesday in an interview with Honduras' Channel 11.
The National Industry Chamber proposed over the weekend that 3,000 U.N. peacekeepers be sent to Honduras to ensure that if Zelaya is restored to the presidency, he respects an international mediator's proposal that his powers be strictly limited.
The association had been a vocal opponent of reinstating Zelaya, who was toppled in a June 28 coup.
