Honduran interim leader: No meeting with Zelaya

Honduras' interim president says he won't meet face-to-face with ousted President Manuel Zelaya, but says Zelaya would be allowed to leave the foreign embassy where he is holed up if another country grants him political asylum.
Interim President Roberto Micheletti tells The Associated Press that talks between a government representative and Zelaya aimed at resolving the political standoff have yielded no results.
In a Friday interview, Micheletti said that the Honduran courts will have to make any final decision on amnesty for Zelaya.
Zelaya has said he has no intention of leaving Honduras, and demands he be reinstated. He was ousted in June in a military-backed coup, but sneaked back into the country last week and took shelter in the Brazilian Embassy.
