Nadal not in peak condition heading to US Open

Rafael Nadal concedes that he probably isn't in the best condition heading into the U.S. Open.
The Spanish star took off more than two months because of tendinitis in both knees. When he decided not to defend his Wimbledon title, he said he was thinking about the knees too much.
Nadal told The Associated Press on Wednesday that it's hard not to think about an injury, but he feels much better and believes he has a chance to win his first U.S. Open title.
