Ex-Bosnian Serb chief: US helped Iran arm Muslims

Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic has told The Associated Press he is seeking evidence that the U.S. facilitated arms shipments from Iran to Bosnian Muslims during the Bosnian war.
Karadzic's war crimes trial is likely to start within a few weeks. He is accused of genocide and crimes against humanity during the Bosnian war, during which more than 100,000 people were killed.
In written responses to questions, Karadzic said he has asked several countries for documents that will support his contention they violated the U.N. arms embargo during the 1992-95 conflict.
He said this included direct U.S. military supplies to the Bosnian Muslim army and Iranian weapons sent through Croatia with U.S. support.
