Mercury spill forces Puerto Rico flight delays

A small mercury spill inside Puerto Rico's main airport has forced three terminals to close and authorities say many flights will be delayed.
Ports Authority director Alvaro Pilar says the terminals were closed out of concern for dangerous fumes after a passenger bound for the Dominican Republic spilled a bottle of mercury. He says the passenger told authorities the mercury was for medical purposes.
Pilar said the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan was operating Tuesday through one terminal that remained open.
