Obama news conference moved up 1 hour

The White House says President Barack Obama's news conference on Wednesday will begin at 8 p.m. EDT (0000 GMT), one hour earlier than previously announced.
Last week, the White House announced the news conference with a 9 p.m. (0100 GMT) start time.
On Monday, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs announced the new time for the East Room news conference. He did not give a reason for the change in time.
Obama last held a news conference at the White House on June 23. He took questions during a recent trip to Russia, Italy and Ghana.
