ATHENS, Greece (AP) -- Greek authorities say they have discovered two more dead migrants at sea, increasing the death toll of a boat sinking to four.

The bodies, a man and a boy, were discovered off the coast of the island of Samos, in the eastern Aegean Sea, very close to the Turkish mainland.

Two more dead had been discovered Friday, when an overloaded boat carrying migrants trying to enter Greece illegally sank off Samos.

Greek and Turkish authorities rescued 17 migrants Friday. Up to 18 more are missing, based on what survivors have told authorities.

Authorities haven't released the names or nationalities of the rescued migrants.

Greece's coast guard is still combing the area for survivors or victims.
