May exports on rise

Taipei, June 9 (CNA) Taiwan's exports in May totaled US$26.67 billion, up 1.4 percent from the same month of last year, the Ministry of Finance reported Monday.

Meanwhile, the country's imports for the month hit US$21.38 billion, down 2.3 percent year-on-year, leaving the country with a surplus of US$5.29 billion for May, according to ministry tallies.
