Taipei, May 5 (CNA) Taiwan could see more stable weather this week, with daily high temperatures likely to remain around 30 degrees Celsius across the island, the Central Weather Bureau said Sunday. Through May 9 the mercury is expected to hover from 20 to 30 degrees in northern Taiwan, while southern Taiwan could expect temperatures between 23 and 32 degrees, forecasters said. Sporadic rains are forecast for northern, central and eastern Taiwan during the period, the bureau added, but said chances are high for other parts of the country to see cloudy to sunny skies. The warming trend, however, could be interrupted beginning May 10 when increasing chances of rain could reduce temperatures slightly, the bureau said. (By Lee Hisn-Yin)
