Reds pitcher Aroldis Chapman of Cuba has been arrested for speeding and driving with a suspended license in central Ohio, only hours after he got his first save of the season in New York.

Police in Grove City provided The Associated Press with a copy of the arrest report showing Chapman was stopped on Interstate 71 traveling at 93 mph (150 kph) shortly before 1 a.m. local time Monday.

Chapman didn't pitch in a 4-1 win over Atlanta on Monday. Afterward, he met with Baker and general manager Walt Jocketty to provide details about his arrest.

Reds manager Dusty Baker said before the game Monday he plans to give Chapman a chance to move into the closer's role. The hard-throwing lefty earned his second career save Sunday by finishing a 5-2 win over the Yankees.
