Weighing over four tons, the world’s largest Easter egg was unveiled to a crowd of chocolate lovers in Argentina Sunday.

Twenty-seven bakeries worked for two weeks to make enough chocolate for the 8,5-metre-high egg during the Chocolate Festival in San Carlos de Bariloche. It was certified by the Guinness Records as the world’s largest.

Thousands of spectators filled the square to admire the egg and to share a piece of chocolate. Chefs used cranes to break off chunks of the chocolate and hand them out.
