Mitt Romney has won his second primary of the day.

The Republican presidential front-runner easily won Tuesday's primary in Washington, D.C. Chief rival Rick Santorum wasn't on the ballot.

Romney also won the Maryland primary and was looking to sweep all three of Tuesday's contests. Wisconsin also was holding its primary.

The former Massachusetts governor is on pace to clinch the party's nomination in June if not before.
