Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei presents a new menu featuring a new style of authentic Shanghainese cuisines created by Eddie Liu, the hotel’s Director of Culinary Arts, who was recently awarded as “Talented Artist among Chinese Chef” at Shanghai Pavilion (39F).
Eddie combines his wealthy culinary knowledge with inspirations from his over-a-hundred visits to China’s major cities and re-presents the cuisines with a modern Western style. He has created multiple new unique dishes that cannot be missed, including Stir-Fried Lobster Tail with Dried Chili and Peppercorn, Braised Oxtail with Garlic and Barbecue Sauce and Sautéed Shredded Chinese Ham with Snow Peas.
