TAIPEI (Taiwan News) -- Nicaraguan professors attended a training program provided by ACER and Taiwan Embassy in Nicaragua. The event took place at Justo Pastor Zamora auditorium in Managua on July 12 and 13.
Acer company experts instructed the professors on Internet of things (IoT) technology that connects various smart devices online.
Participants in this training session represented institutions like Ministry of Education, Autonomous University of Nicaragua, National Engineering University, National Technological institute, Zamora Terán Foundation and Chinese-Nicaraguan Association.
During 10 hours, attendees studied courses related to IoT which were led by the Taiwanese lecturers. At the end of the seminar, teachers received a recognition certificate which authorizes them to transmit their knowledge to their students and colleagues in their companies.
Participant institutions received kits that include the Acer CloudProfessor device, construction game Gigo 1247A and Acer tablet Iconia One 8.
