TAIPEI (Taiwan News) -- What are the determining factors for employers to decide whether he or she wants to hire an employee after a job interview? It turns out your zodiac sign matters during a job search.
1111 Job Bank released a poll which surveyed the HR and management of several Taiwanese companies, showing that around 70 percent of the companies spend less than one minute to take a glance on job seeker’s resume, so what traits or skills could catch their eyes?
The poll conducted last month showed 30 percent of the employers have preferences to recruit workers born under certain star signs, as Aries, Libra, and Leo are the top three most popular, while the least popular are all water sign zodiacs.
According to Employment Services Act, employers shouldn’t hold discrimination and prejudice toward job seekers and employees about gender, age, racial and other equality; however, it is fairly fine to have some preference on some special traits when recruiting their new employees.
The top three most popular astrology signs are Aries (6.9%), Libra (4.5%), and Leo (4.0%). According to the experience of senior HRs, Aries employees are efficient and motivated, Libras are fair-minded with great social skills, while Leos are passionate and have leadership ability.
As for the least popular signs are Cancer (0.49%), Scorpio (0.74%) and Pisces (0.99%).
